Full description
Pears, B. + de-Villiers, S. + Passmore, A., 2014, The Former Fremington Army Camp, Fremington, Devon: Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation and Historic Building Survey, Building 26 (Report - non-specific). SDV357013.
Nissen hut with metal windows in the north-east elevation, UPVC windows in the south-west elevation and a pane glass window cut into the roof. There are single wooden doors in the north-east and south-west elevations, and rectangular concrete extensions on the north-west and south-east sides.
There is a single large room at the south-west end with a built-in shelving unit, with a corridor the north-east end with a kitchen cabinet and sink in it. There are two rooms off this to the south-east, and a toilet to the north-west. The ceiling is asbestos sheeting.
