Pears, B. + de-Villiers, S. + Passmore, A., 2014, The Former Fremington Army Camp, Fremington, Devon: Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation and Historic Building Survey, Building 62 (Report - non-specific). SDV357013.

Possible telephone exchange of brick and concrete block construction, with gabled roof under corrugated asbestos sheeting. Six bays. Metal double doors and a single wooden door in the west elevation. The south elevation is concrete-rendered. A few openings have been blocked in the east elevation.
There is a single room at the south end which is accessed through a door in the west elevation. This appears to have once contained telephones. There is a bricked-up doorway in the south wall. There was no access to the remainder of the building so a visual inspection was carried out through the windows. It consists of one large open room with a small room to the south-east. The roof is supported on metal frames with plasterboard.
