Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The field boundaries are not depicted on the Woodbury parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48.

The former field boundaries are visible as earthwork ditches.

Former field boundaries of potential medieval date are visible as earthwork ditches on Lidar-derived images of 2005, to the north of Blackhill Reservoir. The three parallel and linear earthworks are northeast to southwest aligned and closely respect the historic field boundaries based on medieval strip fields. The former field boundaries appear, however, to have passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48.
