A possible earthwork mound was visible.

No earthwork mound could be seen in this location.

An earthwork mound was visible on aerial photographs of 1966 as an earthwork on the gentle west facing slopes to the south-east of Three Elms Cross, Clyst St. Lawrence. The mound might be the remains of a barrow of Bronze Age date.
The mound was circular and measured approximately 20 metres in diameter. The mound could not be seen as an earthwork on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2005 and 2010 and might therefore have been levelled.
