Two broad linear earthworks, up to 9 metres wide and 22 metres apart, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2012. It is possible that they are natural features, but their regularity suggests they could be former field boundaries disused after the area was emparked. No field boundaries are depicted in this location on the available historic mapping, so any field boundaries here would appear to have gone out of use by the mid-19th century.
