Earthwork banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, at Manor Copse. The earthworks are northwest to southeast aligned and occupy an area of approximately 0.83 hectares of gentle northwest facing slope. The nature of the earthwork banks is uncertain, although it is possible they represent evidence of 18th-19th century cultivation, or evidence of a former orchard, the fruit trees being established on the earthwork banks for improved soil depth and drainage. The earthworks remain visible on aerial photographs of 2000.
