The feature is visible, possibly as an earthwork pit.

The possible bomb crater is visible as an earthwork pit.

An earthwork pit of a possible Second World War bomb crater is visible on aerial photographs of 1944 onwards, to the northeast of Spain Farm. The small sub-circular earthwork measures approximately 5m in diameter and has the appearance of a bomb crater, akin to those recorded along the southern edge of Exeter Airport. It is visible as a vegetation mark on aerial photographs of 1947, although is not visible after this date.
