Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Lower Cator shown on 19th century Tithe Map with three detached buildings to the north and three detached buildings to the south. The Apportionment for 'Lower Cator' lists Field Number 1475 to the north as 'Garden & House' and Field Number 1560 to the south as 'House & Garden'.

Lower Cator shown on 19th century map as two groups of buildings. The northern group consists of a group of attached buildings with a large rectangular building to the south-west, a small rectangular building to the west and another small rectangular building to the south-east. The southern group surrounds a five sided yard with buildings on the north, south, east and west sides.
