Summary

No longer extant; the 19th and 20th century historic maps depict a group of buildings here including a dwelling. The Tithe Map records a house and offices which may have been associated with Wrangaton Manor. Replaced in the later 20th century with the modern house.

Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

The Tithe Map depicts three buildings here, including a rectangular dwelling (aligned north-east by south-west), a building at the south-western end of the house and a long narrow rectangular building on the south-western boundary of the plot. 1900 on the Ugborough apportionment; 'House, yard and Offices'; it is recorded as being part of 'Andrew's Wrangaton'.

Late 19th century historic map is much the same as the Tithe Map depiction for this site.

The early 20th century historic map matches the late 19th century depiction of the structures.

Only one building is shown on the 1950s historic map; the house. Presumably the other buildings have now fallen out of use.
