A rectilinear cropmark enclosure was visible.

A possible ditched enclosure of later prehistoric to Roman date was visible as a cropmark on the gentle facing slopes west of Rewe, overlooking the floodplain of the Exe Valley to the west. The visible cropmark was circa 1.5 metres wide and defined the southern end of a possible rectilinear enclosure approximately 22 metres wide and at least 37 metres long. The northern end of the possible enclosure lay under a different crop which was not forming archaeological cropmarks, and was therefore not visible.
