Former field boundaries of potential medieval date are visible as earthwork ditches on aerial photographs of 1966 onwards, at Hill Barton. The linear boundaries are northeast to southwest aligned and are sited either side of an un-numbered road. The probable former field boundaries generally respect the historic field patterns depicted on the 1838-48 parish tithe map, although the boundaries appear to have passed out of use by this time. The field boundaries remain visible as earthwork ditches on Lidar-derived images of 1998 and 2005.
