Full description

Department of Environment, 1960, Axminster RD, 11 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV337333.

Range of three houses. Ashlar front and slate roof. Rusticated quoins. Brick and stone and flint stacks. 'Althea' has a doorway with pilasters and entablature. The others have square framed doorways with projecting keystones. Two-storeyed. Sashes and casements, the latter with leaded lights. All windows have moulded stone frames with projecting keystones.18th century.

House, 18th century. Ashlar with slate roof with gabled ends and moulded stone eaves cornice. Two storeys. Three window range. Three light casements with glazing bars and keyblocks. Left hand doorway with stone pilasters and entablature with fluted frieze and fielded panel door. Right hand doorway has moulded stone architrave with keyblock and fielded panel door. Fire insurance plaque on front wall.
