Five areas of parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 4 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1969 onwards and just visible on images derived from lidar captured between 1998 and 2014. They resemble post-medieval or 19th century orchard banks in form, although the areas are not depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping, and it is possible that they resulted from drainage works.
