(02/08/1993) The remains of a former artillery Observation Post lie in very marshy ground on the right bank of the East Okement River 750m southwest of Oke Tor.
The site has been destroyed and close examination of the area was not possible due to the marshy ground.
The origin of this feature is uncertain though many OPs on Okehampton Range are thought to date from the early 20th century (citing personal comment Major D Mills, O/C Live Firing, Okehampton Camp, Okehampton, Devon).
