(09/08/1994) SX 5863 8810. The site of a former artillery observation post on the south side of Dinger Tor. The post was demolished during the summer of 1993 and with the exception of small quantities of bricks and concrete all material was removed. The area occupied by the post is to be grassed over (citing Mills, D., personal comment, O/C Live Firing, Okehampton Camp, Devon).
