Full description

Harris, G. T., 1928 - 1929, Lapper Stones, 107 (Article in Serial). SDV338467.
Harris suggests that these stones were more likely to be associated with quarrying for scythe-stones in this area, which had been around the time of Stukeley's visit.
Tyler, F. C., 1928 - 1929, Lapper Stones, 9 (Article in Serial). SDV338465.
Stukeley says that he was told of the Lapper Stones which were thought to form a cairn or such like.
