A possible field boundary of uncertain date is visible as an earthwork ditch and banked feature on aerial photographs of 1948 onwards, to the west of Hartsmoor Bridge. The linear earthworks are northwest to southeast aligned and are sited on gentle northeast facing slope which appear to respect and utilise a natural scarp here. It is not certain whether the earthwork ditch forms part of the field boundary or is associated with the stream visible on aerial photographs of 1989 to the east of the earthworks.
