A curvilinear cropmark, circa 2.5 metres in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 2014. It broadly fits into the historic field pattern, but is not depicted on the available historic mapping, and is fairly indistinct on both sets of images. It is tentatively interpreted as having formed over the remains of a field boundary bank and ditches of probable medieval origin, which fell out of use prior to the early-20th century.
