A curvilinear earthwork ditch and two banks, circa 2.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1996 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. They fit into the historic field pattern, which has been characterised as based on medieval strip fields, and the banks seem to abut curvilinear field boundaries depicted on the Tithe map, which although now also removed are visible on the lidar imagery as earthwork features of similar width and morphology. They are interpreted as relict field boundaries of medieval origin which fell out of use prior to the mid-19th century.
