A low roughly circular mound was visible.

A possible small circular mound was visible on aerial photographs of 1996 as a slight earthwork approximately 16 metres in diameter, on the south-east facing slopes east of Shrubbery Lane, Stockland parish. The date and function of the earthwork is unknown, but it is possible it is the remains of a barrow of Bronze Age date. Further work such as geophysical survey is recommended to clarify the nature of the earthworks.
