An enclosure of potential prehistoric date is visible as earthwork banked features on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, at Cleave Farm. The sub-oval shaped feature measures approximately 71m in length by 29m in width, with a possible entrance on its eastern side. A short east to west aligned linear earthwork bank adjacent to the enclosure likely represents part of a field boundary depicted here on the Parish Tithe Map, which also intersects with the northern edge of the enclosure. Earthworks remain visible here on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2010.
