An oval shaped feature is possibly visible as an earthwork pit on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, at Elysia. The feature was poorly defined on lidar images and it is unclear whether it represents an archaeological feature or an artefact of the lidar data collection process. Nothing is clearly visible on aerial photographs, although vegetation marks are visible here on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2014. The feature does bear resemblance to a post-medieval to 19th century extraction pit.
