The map is badly damaged here and only partial traces of the field boundary are visible.

Earthwork cuttings of a possible medieval to 19th century field boundary are visible on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, at Windover Farm. The earthworks are most clearly visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. They appear to comprise two slightly curvilinear and parallel cuttings, northeast to southwest aligned and situated on gentle west facing slope, adjacent to Madford River. These terraced earthworks appear to represent the remains of a former field boundary. Traces of a field boundary are visible here, although much damaged, on the Parish Tithe map, although it is largely unclear as to why such a field boundary would necessitate the need for such terracing. The field boundary appears to have passed out of use by the time of the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880's-90's.
