Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2016-2018, The Blackdown Hills AONB and East Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV359463.

A linear earthwork bank, up to 5 metres in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947, and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. On the latter a second linear bank of similar width is visible as well as a curvilinear ditch or lynchet to the north-east. The longest bank and the ditch terminate at slight deviations in the extant field boundaries and they are interpreted as the remains of medieval or post-medieval field boundaries which, as they are not depicted on the historic mapping, went out of use by the mid-19th century.
