Former field boundaries of between medieval to post-medieval date are visible as earthwork banks on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the west of Newcott Farm. The earthworks are north to south and east to west aligned, with a single northeast to southwest aligned bank to the south. The earthworks to the east and north are partly depicted as field boundaries on the Parish Tithe map of approximately 1838-48. These field boundaries are extant on aerial photographs of 1947, although have been cleared by 1982. The remaining earthwork field boundaries appear to have all passed out of use by the time of the Parish Tithe map.
