The possible extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit.

A possible extraction pit of likely post-medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1982 onwards and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the southwest of Brimpit Farm. The sub-circular shaped earthwork pit measures approximately 17m in diameter. An oval shaped earthwork mound measuring approximately 13m in length by 9m in width and possibly derived from up-cast material is visible on the southern side of the earthwork pit.
