Two shallow irregular earthwork pits, each circa 65 by 30 metres in maximum extent, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. The area covers three fields, one of which is depicted as orchard on the 19th century mapping and appears to still have contained fruit trees in 2014. The earthworks are interpreted as the remains of extractive pits that went out of use before the mid-19th century.
