Possible field boundaries of between medieval to 19th century date are visible as a series of earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, on Beacon Hill. The boundaries comprise a series of contiguous earthworks which, from the northern most extent, follow a northwest to southeast alignment, turning sharply towards the south, then southwest and with a short section towards the west. These earthworks appear to be associated with a field boundary at their northern extent and depicted on the Parish Tithe map of approximately 1838-48, although the earthworks appear to have passed out of use by this time. An additional sinuous L-shaped earthwork bank is visible on the western side of these earthworks, although it is unclear how, or if, these earthworks may be associated. The field boundaries are more likely to be of post-medieval to 19th century date, although could have medieval origins.
