Bluesky International, 2016, LiDAR DTM data (0.5m resolution) Blackdown Hills and East Devon AONBs: 3 transects, LIDAR ST2307 Bluesky International DTM 30-APR-2016 (Cartographic). SDV359714.
The extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit.

An extraction pit of likely post-medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork pit on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the north of Underdown Farm. The irregular shaped earthwork measures approximately 46m in length by 32m in width. The earthwork is largely obscured by tree cover and was not visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to this survey.
