Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 3.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken from the 1940s in a plot of land depicted as orchard on the 19th century mapping. The broadly cross-contour orientation is indicative of post-medieval or 19th century tree planting banks. Trees are visible on the 1940s aerial photographs and the orchard went out of use in the second part of the 20th century. The banks are barely visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014 and may have been substantially levelled.
