The field boundary is not depicted on this map.

The possible relict field boundary is visible as a cropmark bank.

Cropmarks which have possibly formed over a levelled bank of a medieval field boundary is visible on aerial photographs of 1950, to the west of Westcott Cross. The poorly defined, linear cropmarks are northeast to southwest aligned and closely respect the historic field patterns depicted here on the Parish Tithe map, although has passed out of use by this time. The Historic Landscape Characterisation project has classified this area as comprising ‘Medieval strip fields’. The cropmarks are not clearly visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
