A possible former field boundary of potential medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork banked feature on aerial photographs of 1947 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, at Fancy Farm. The L-shaped earthwork is northwest to southeast and northeast to southwest aligned and appears to form a small land parcel on the northeast side of Fancy Farm, possibly utilised as an orchard or stock enclosure. The field boundary is not shown on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map and has likely passed out of use by this time. The digital Parish Tithe Map appears to be un-surveyed here, so it was not possible to determine whether the field boundary was extant by this time.
