Full description

Debois Landscape Survey Group, 2007, Bishops Court, Devon. Landscape Survey and Management Plan, Appendix 1: BC05 (Report - non-specific). SDV349911.

Site of the gateway to the medieval bishop's palace which was demolished in the late 18th century. A watercolour dated 1800 by the Revd Swete shown a stump of wall which may perhaps be a remnant of the gateway.
