A curvilinear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1996 and on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. It is not depicted on the available historic maps, and is tentatively interpreted as the remains of a medieval field boundary that went out of use by the mid-19th century. It is on the same alignment as a less well-defined earthwork ridge to the south, and it is possible that both are in fact natural features.
