A single curvilinear earthwork ditch is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1945 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. It seems to have carried water in the mid-20th century when watermarks downslope were visible on aerial photographs and may have been a simple post-medieval or 19th century catchmeadow. However its alignment wavers slightly and interpretation is not certain. No gutters or sluices are depicted on the available historic mapping and its use is likely to pre-date the late-19th century.
