Two roughly parallel dark linear cropmarks, visible on aerial photographs taken in 1976, probably formed over the buried remains of two buried ditches circa 6 to 10 metres apart. The fields in this area are regular and straight-edged and typical of post-medieval or 19th century enclosures. They cross high ground and may have formed over the buried remains of ditches either side of a former trackway that went out of use by the 19th century.
