Several earthwork ditches, less than two metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. They are approximately parallel to each other and aligned downslope dropping less than 10 metres over a distance of circa 140 metres, and they are tentatively interpreted as the gutters of a post-medieval or 19th century catchmeadow system. It is possible that they originated from Prestaller Farm, and could have operated as an integrated system that distributed water mingled with manure. No features are depicted in this location on the available historic mapping suggesting that it fell out of use by the late-19th century. They are not visible on later available imagery and their survival and condition is not clear.
