Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 3.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken between 2000 and 2002. Their width and cross-contour orientation is similar to other post-medieval or 19th century banks for fruit tree cultivation found in this region. The area is depicted as orchard on the early-20th century mapping, and some trees were still present in the 1940s, suggesting that the orchard fell out of use in the second part of the 20th century.
