Numerous linear and curvilinear cropmarks and earthworks of varying widths are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. They are in an area characterised as enclosures of medieval origin and are interpreted as the remains of former medieval or post-medieval field boundaries. Tithe and late-19th century OS maps for this area are not currently available to the project, and all those features that are not depicted on the early-20th century maps have been transcribed. These boundaries presumably went out of use by the early-20th century.
