A dark curvilinear cropmark, circa 2 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 2010. It is approximately 8 metres to the south of, and parallel to, a field boundary depicted on the early-20th century mapping. It is tentatively interpreted as remains of a former medieval or post-medieval field boundary that went out of use by the early-20th century. However its unusually curving shape could indicate a different function, and given the possible drainage ditches visible on the 1940s aerial photographs to the south, it could perhaps have been a water channel.
