Transcriptions of an L-shaped bank correspond to the grid reference for PRN167179.

A rectilinear enclosure is partially visible as a low earth bank on aerial photographs (p1) and was digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme. The north east and south east sides of the enclosure are truncated by a later field boundary. The enclosure may be contemporary and associated with nearby ridge and furrow cultivation (MDV120337) and date from the medieval period. It lies within an area classed as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
