In a field to the NE of Brocks Common the remains of ridge and furrow cultivation is visible on aerial photographs (p1). These remains have been digitally plotted for the National Mapping Programme. Features in this field have been described in the Devon HER as 'modern cultivation' and it is likely that they refer to the ridge and furrow described above.
