Traces of a rectilinear field system are visible as a series of low earth banks on aerial photographs (p1) and were digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme. The banks are forming a series of small fields, typically 33m x 24m. Their date is uncertain but the banks lie within an area classed as C18th and C19th post-medieval enclosures in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
