A hollow feature roughly 34m long and 15m wide is visible on aerial photographs (p1). It lies along the west edge of an extant field hedge marked on modern OS 1:10,000 maps. It is likely that this is the remains of a small quarry. It has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
