Transcriptions of a cut feature are visible. The grid reference given for PRN167740 does not, however, correspond with these transcriptions and are incorrect.

The possible site of a medieval or post medieval extractive pit or quarry is visible as low rounded earthworks on aerial photographs (p1). It is not marked on any edition OS map and was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The feature is sited within an area described as rough ground in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
