The probable site of a post medieval quarry is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (p1). The site of the quarry is not marked on any edition OS map. It was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The features are sited within an area described as broad-leaved plantations, re-planted ancient woodland or secondary woodland that has grown up from scrub in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
