Three parallel ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (p1) running along the steep north-facing slope to the north of Chawleigh Week. The features may be leats or lynchets post medieval origin although a natural origin cannot be ruled out. The features are sited within an area described as C18th and C19th post-medieval enclosures in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
