A dark cropmark ditch is visible.

A single L-shaped cropmark, circa 7m in width, of a levelled ditch is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1999, on gentle southeast facing slope to the northwest of Pitt Farm, Broadhempston. The faintly defined, but broad, cropmark possibly defines the northeast corner of a rectilinear enclosure and is interpreted as being of late prehistoric or Romano-British date given its proximity to other enclosures identified in this area. Some caution should, however, be exercised and it is also possible the cropmark is of modern agricultural origin.
