Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

The visible earthwork does not correspond with any bonudary depicted on the Tithe map for Kenton.

A curvilinear bank is visible as an earthwork.

An earthwork bank up to 5m wide and approximately 100m long is visible on the south-facing slopes to the south of North Covert Farm, Kenton, on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2003. The visible earthwork does not correspond with any field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Kenton. It is interpreted as the remains of a field boundary removed prior to the 1840s. The bank is not visible as an earthwork on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2016 and has probably been reduced in height, possibly levelled.
