Summary

19th century field names shown with a cluster of fields on mid 19th century mapping. 'Burrow' suggests the presence of an earthwork but nothing has been detected. Late 19th century mapping shows that the fields have merged and it is unclear if the field names are still valid.

Cluster of fields named 'Middleburrow' and 'Nattleburrow' shown on 1838-48 Digitised Tithe maps and Transcribed Apportionments. Could suggest the presence of an earthwork.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Cluster of fields appear to have merged creating fewer larger fields, on Ordnance Survey 1880s-90s First Edition mapping. It is unclear whether or not the field names are still applicable and the presence of an earthwork is undetected.
